Congratulations to all the players in these training squads. It is awesome to see so many players wanting to be apart of the OHA Booster Program, the Clutha Cup and the South Island U15 tournament.

We wish you all the best for the coming weeks trainings.

Otago u15 girls training squad The schedule for the remainder of the program is as follows

Calendar of Dates

Sunday 28th August – NO U15 Booster programme, all coaches are away at Otautahi Cup and Secondary School Tournaments.  The turf is open for any families wanting to come in and have a hit around.

Sunday 4th September – U15 programme 10am -11.30am Main Turf

Wednesday 7th September – Extra training session for the teams in preparation for Clutha Cup and South Island Tournament. Times for the session are 4.30pm and finish at 6.00pm

Sunday 11th September NO U15 Booster Program. This is the beginning of the National Hockey Championship. Teams from around New Zealand will be playing from the 11th – 17th September. This would be a great opportunity to come down and watch some of New Zealand’s best hockey players playing.

Clutha Cup Information

Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th September – Everyone who participates in the Booster program will be put into a team to go to the Clutha Cup which is over the weekend of the 17&18 September. This is an overnight experience for the teams.

Teams will be travelling to:

  1. Boys – Gore
  2. Girls – Invercargill

To play over the weekend against Southland and Central Otago.

OHA will plan travel and accommodation for all the players. Team coaches and managers will be looking after the players.

Parental help is also welcome at this weekend.

Please let me know if you do not want to be considered for this event.

South Island Tournament Information

Sunday 2nd October – 6th October

Everyone who participates in the Booster program will be put into a team to go to the South Island tournament.

The teams will travel to Christchurch to play in the U15 South Island tournament.

We intend to travel to Christchurch on Sunday 2nd of October and returning on the 6th of October.

OHA will plan travel and accommodation for all the players. Team coaches and managers will be looking after the players.

Parental help is also welcome at the tournament

The lists above are squads and there is likely to be movement between them before the final teams are announced. The final teams may not be confirmed until a week before the South Island tournament
