The Otago Hockey Board consists of six elected members in addition to the President and Treasurer.
Due to the resignation of two elected members and the Treasurer who is moving overseas the board is looking to Co-opt members through until the next AGM in March.
Expressions of interest are sought from individuals looking to join the board through until the AGM and then present themselves to the membership as longer term options.
Otago Hockey is seeking applications from professionals with:
• Proven experience as a director and / or senior executive who have and understand highly effective governance skills.
• Relevant experience and expertise in one or more of accounting/finance, legal, community sport, performance programmes or commercial relationships is desirable
• Knowledge of Hockey is desirable but not essential
The Otago Hockey Board meets a minimum of 10 times a year with most meetings taking approximately two hours.
Board members of Otago Hockey undertake this role in a volunteer capacity.
