Our junior programmes cater for children from years 1-8 at school (age 5-13).

Year 1 & 2 Children take part in our Funsticks programme. Funsticks is a 10-week fundamental movement and basic skill development programme.

Children in years 3-8 at school take part in Small Sticks. Small Sticks is a series of modified games that are tailored to be age and stage appropriate and change in format as children move through this age range. Small sticks are predominately school-based (mixed) teams although we do have some clubs who run teams in this competition.

Please see below for more info on Funsticks, Small Sticks and Small Sticks in schools programme.

FUNSTICKS - Year 1 & 2

Join our Funsticks Hockey Programme

Funsticks is a fundamental movement and basic skill development programme that consists of 10 one hour sessions. We understand young children's attention spans, so we spend 8 to 10 minutes mastering different activities, before playing a game.
