FUNSTICKS - Year 1 & 2
Join our Fun Sticks Hockey Programme
Fundamental movement and basic skill development programme that consists of 10 one hour sessions. We understand young children's attention spans, so we spend 8 to 10 minutes mastering different activities, before playing a game.
No equipment (sticks and balls) needed! Please provide your own shinguards and mouthguard. These can be purchased at the McMillan Hockey Centre GO HOCKEY SHOP.
Otago Hockey’s development officer Julia Boothroyd will be looking after Fun Sticks this year. You can contact at coach@oha.org.nz or 03 474 9201.
Where: There will be two intakes this year and you can choose from either Term 2 & Term 3
Held in the Metro Indoor Sports centre (Monday/Thursday) & Logan Park School Gymnasium (Saturday)
When: There will be two intakes this year in Term 2 & Term 3 that you can choose from
#Note: Due to the facilities we have a maximum of 24 kids per day so get in fast if there is a particular day you would prefer
Dates:
Term 2 Intake
Thursdays 3:45pm-4: 45 pm (May 2nd-July 4th 2019) OR
Saturdays 9am-10am (May 4th-July 6th 2019)
Term 3 Intake
Mondays 3:45pm-4: 45 pm (22nd July to 23rd September) OR
Saturdays 9am-10am (27th July to 28th September)
Cost: $75 for the 10-week programme and it also includes a tee shirt!

MOSGIEL FUN STICKS 2018
Where: Held in the Taieri College ITC (Entrance on Green St, Mosgiel)
When: Friday nights (3rd May to 5th July)
Time: 3:30pm-4:30pm
Cost: $45

WAIKOUAITI FUN STICKS 2018
Where: Held in the East Otago Events Centre, Waikouaiti
When: Wednesday 14th May to 2nd July
Time: 3:30pm-4:30pm
Cost: $80
