Otago Polytechnic Scholarships

We are delighted to be able to confirm ongoing support from the Otago Polytechnic.
As a result of this partnership we are in the position to be able to offer two full scholarships of up to three full years study beginning in 2022.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a player, coach or match official with the intention of studying in Dunedin in 2022 and beyond.
To apply please send a letter of application to Andy McLean at manager@oha.org.nz, applications close 5pm on Thursday 29 July so that we can confirm successful applicants and communicate to the Polytech in August.
We are grateful of this opportunity that has been provided by the Otago Polytechnic and proud to neighbour and partner with one of Dunedin’s finest organisations. This is an exciting opportunity to study at a world class tertiary provider while extending your hockey.
The Selection Panel shall consider the following factors in awarding the scholarships:
• Academic background and plans for study at Otago Polytechnic may be assessed
• Demonstrate excellence, or potential too, in performance as either a player, umpire, coach and/or club administrator.
• Demonstrate leadership, or potential to, in performance as either a player, umpire, coach and/or club administrator.
