Turfs to be resurfaced

The Dunedin City Council has today voted 13-1 in favour of taking ownership and funding the replacement of both turfs at the McMillan Hockey Centre.
Work on this important project will now get underway in earnest. With project completion scheduled for late 2024 or early 2025.
Otago Hockey are extremely grateful to DCC staff and councillors who have seen the value in this project and supported it.
We appreciate these are challenging times and acknowledge the work that goes into these decisions.
Otago Hockey is committed to playing our part in ensuring that this fantastic facility continues to provide quality participation opportunities to the Dunedin community as well as the economic benefits that are available through attracting events to this truly fantastic part of the world.
